Independent developer of wireless communication SDKs since 2006.
Soft Service Company was founded in 2006 by Mike Petrichenko as a small, one-person software development business. It has since grown into a focused SDK vendor for developers who build applications with wireless connectivity.
The company develops and maintains three core frameworks — Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Serial — under a common base library, and offers them together as the Wireless Communication Library. Every framework is available for .NET (with Unity, Mono, and IL2CPP support), C++, and VCL (including LCL). All three are tested against current OS releases.
Alongside the main frameworks, the company develops smaller, focused projects, including the LEGO WeDo Framework for controlling WeDo 2.0 devices from .NET applications.
Focused
A narrow set of SDKs, each developed to industrial depth. No marketing-driven features, no unnecessary breadth, no product lines abandoned halfway through.
Long-lived
The same core products have been developed and supported since 2006. Bug reports from early releases still get answered. Breaking changes are introduced only when forced by the underlying platform.
