Wireless Communication Library and IrDA
The Library provides easy in use methods and classes to
wotj with IrDA enabled devices. It allows to your application to Inquire remote IrDA devices, to connect to
remote IrDA enabled devices, to Transfer files to remote IrDA enabled devices and lots of other features.
The Library includes: IrDA .NET, IrDA C++, IrDA ActiveX and IrDA VCL Frameworks which allow to use the Library with any programming languages.
Supported Profiles
- IrCOMM
The IrCOMM (Infrared Communications Protocol) lets the infrared device act like either a serial or parallel port. It lies on top of the IrLMP layer. WCL can simulate nine-wire connection over IrCOMM. - File Transfer Profile (FTP)
Provides the capability to browse, manipulate and transfer objects (files and folders) in an object store (file system) of another system. - Object Push Profile (OPP)
A basic profile for sending "objects" such as pictures, virtual business cards, or appointment details. It is called push because the transfers are always instigated by the sender (client), not the receiver (server). - Other profiles
SDK provides possability to create and use any custom IrCOMM based profiles.
